General Terms
EquipPC makes no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
The purchaser is solely responsible for determining suitability before purchasing from EquipPC.
The warranty is limited to the term period listed bellow.
Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of components (at EquipPC's discretion)
after being determined defective by EquipPC within the warranty period.
EquipPC is not liable for loss of data or income do to the failure of product to perform
or time lost for warranty repair or replacement.
Preinstalled Software and Operating Systems
will be warranted by their manufacture as stated in their respective EULA or program license agreement.
This may include or be limited to replacement of defective media.
EquipPC is not liable for supporting user of pre-installed software or Operating Systems with
training pertaining to the use and limitations of the software product.
EquipPC does not warrant suitability or affectivity of software sold or supplied by EquipPC.
EquipPC is not liable for systems failure to function as delivered do to installation of software
or hardware by purchaser or party other than EquipPC.
EquipPC warrants unaltered systems to a
period, not less than one year, for parts and labor. For individual parts that include a warranty
from the manufacture for a greater period, EquipPC will honor this period for both parts and labor
for that part should it become defective from normal unaltered use. Shipping charges are not included
in warranty. Some parts may carry a longer warranty by their manufacture in which case the EquipPC
warranty will not limit the purchaser to coverage less than that provided by that part's manufacturer.
EquipPC is not responsible for damage
caused by lightning strikes or other power related damage. The owner/operator of any EquipPC system
is responsible for properly filtering and surge protecting power supply to system.
Definitions
"Unaltered" is a system that has not been
modified by anyone other than EquipPC unless specified by EquipPC in the course of troubleshooting
or support, and includes but is not limited to;
Over-clocking of processor or altering bus frequencies
Changing internal hardware components or slot placements
